The goal of the CICT meeting is to promote high quality, patient-centered, clinical and technical decision-making in the field of Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine. Emphasis will be placed on promoting the importance of critical thinking and clinical judgment in interpreting the Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine evidence-based database. Invited faculty will present the "clinician's perspective" on how to incorporate information from the ever growing evidence-based medicine database into a rational patient-centered practice through case-based workshops.

The content of this meeting will address a wide range of complex cardiovascular interventional topics that still present a challenge to the clinician with respect to choosing the appropriate therapy (surgery vs. catheter-based therapy) and with respect to using optimal technique to ensure the safety and efficacy of the procedure.

A concise and practical up-to-date review of the latest clinical trials, devices and techniques relevant to the management of complex cardiovascular patients.

An emphasis on problem solving through review of actual unedited interventional cases by expert faculty-encompassing the spectrum of complex coronary, structural and peripheral interventions.

Active participation through invited case presentations

One-on-one interaction with expert faculty.
